dragand for designers

Exports, assets and hand‑offs, without the Desktop pile.

Design work means moving files all day: exports to upload, assets to send, screenshots to drop into feedback. dragand gives each one a place on the edge of your screen, and clears the temporary ones for you.

Sound familiar?

The everyday friction.

  • Exports everywhere

Every round of feedback leaves a few more PNGs on the Desktop, named almost the same.

  • Window juggling

Dragging an export from Finder into a browser upload box means arranging two windows first.

  • Lost colours and links

The hex code or the prototype link you copied an hour ago has already been replaced.

With dragand

How it fits your day.

  • Hold an export for the upload

Drag the export to the edge and drop it on Hold. Open the client portal, then drag it out from the shelf. The copy clears itself after 24 hours.

    How Hold works
  • Keep the hand-off files together

Drop final assets on Keep while you gather them. They stay on the shelf until you drag them out, and Put Back returns any of them to the folder they came from.

    How Keep works
  • Find the colour you copied

With clipboard history on, press ⌃⌘V and type a few letters: colours, links and images from the last 7 days are there. Pin the brand colours you reuse.

    Clipboard search
  • Undo a wrong drop

Dropped the wrong version? Every drop comes with an Undo note, and ⌘Z works while it shows.

    Undo
Drag to the edge, then choose: Hold a copy for 24 hours, or Keep the file itself.

FAQ

Questions

Does dragand work with Figma, Sketch and Photoshop files?

Yes. dragand works with any file you can drag in Finder, whatever app made it. Images and text dragged straight out of apps work too: text becomes a clipboard item (with history on) and an image from a browser is held.

Will big exports take up space?

On the same disk, a held copy is instant and takes no extra space until one of the two files changes. From another disk, dragand copies it with a progress bar and checks there is room first.

Can I keep a set of brand colours handy?

Yes. Copy each colour once with clipboard history on, then pin them. Pinned clips stay at the top and never expire.
